The Card requires no account, registration, or sign-up, and we do not collect personal information directly from you in order to use it. The only information associated with the Services is collected indirectly, as described below. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms and Conditions. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Services.
IMPORTANT – SCOPE OF THIS POLICY. This Privacy Policy applies to the consumer-facing prescription discount Card program and website only. For the discount Card program, SRXS is neither a "Covered Entity" nor a "Business Associate" as those terms are defined under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ("HIPAA"), and the information we handle in that program is not governed by HIPAA. SRXS also provides separate services to health plans, employers, third-party administrators, and other organizations (for example, pharmacy benefit administration, claims adjudication, and network services). Those business services are governed by separate written agreements between SRXS and those organizations (including Business Associate Agreements where HIPAA applies) and are NOT covered by this consumer Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
You can print, download, or use a Card without registering, creating an account, or providing any personal information to us. We do not collect personal information directly from users of the Services. The only information associated with the Services is collected indirectly, through the following two sources:
a) Information collected automatically through our website. When you visit our website, we and our analytics providers (such as Google Analytics) may automatically collect technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring pages, and the dates and times of your visits, through cookies and similar technologies. This information is used to understand and improve website performance and is not used to identify you personally.
b) Information from participating pharmacies. When you use your Card at a participating pharmacy, information relating to that transaction is transmitted by the pharmacy to us and our processing partner to administer the discount. This may include name identifiers, date of birth, gender, ZIP code, and prescription and claim information (such as drug name, quantity, and the discount applied). This information comes from the pharmacy transaction, not from any direct collection by us.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to: (a) administer and operate the prescription discount Card program; (b) process, price, and reconcile discount claims with our processing partner and participating pharmacies; (c) provide customer support and respond to your inquiries; (d) operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services; (e) perform analytics using aggregated or de-identified data; and (f) comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations. We do not use your information to make any medical or treatment decisions, and the Services are not a substitute for professional medical advice.
3. What We Do NOT Do With Your Information
We do NOT sell your personal information or your prescription or health-related information to any third party.
We do NOT share your prescription, medication, or other health-related information with third-party advertising platforms or social media companies (such as advertising networks operated by Facebook/Meta, Google, or similar) for those companies' targeted advertising purposes.
Any marketing analytics we perform use only aggregated and/or de-identified information that is not reasonably capable of identifying you.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only as necessary to operate the Services and as described below:
a) Service partners. With our pharmacy benefit processing partner and participating pharmacies to adjudicate, price, and administer discount transactions.
b) Service providers. With vendors that perform services on our behalf (such as hosting, data storage, analytics, and customer support), who are contractually required to protect the information and use it only to provide services to us.
c) Legal and safety. When we believe in good faith that disclosure is required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SRXS, our users, or others.
d) Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.
We do not share your information with third parties for their own independent marketing or advertising purposes.
5. HIPAA and Health Information
As noted above, SRXS is not a Covered Entity or Business Associate under HIPAA with respect to the discount Card program, and the information handled in that program is not protected health information governed by HIPAA. Nevertheless, because prescription information can be sensitive, we treat it with care, limit its use to operating the Services, and maintain reasonable safeguards to protect it, as described in this Policy. Where SRXS provides services directly to a Covered Entity under a separate agreement, the handling of protected health information under that arrangement is governed by that agreement and applicable law, not this Policy.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to operate and secure the website, remember your preferences, and understand how the Services are used. You can usually control cookies through your browser settings; however, disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the website. We do not use tracking technologies to disclose your prescription or health information to advertisers.
7. Data Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. We retain information for as long as necessary to operate the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, and comply with our legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and contractual obligations, after which we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

10. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A Card may be used by an adult on behalf of members of their household, including minors, but any related account or contact information is provided and managed by the responsible adult. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
